| Abstract:Various types of combined propulsion system used for large vessels & war ships are described briefly. An analysis is done based on some propulsion systems of modern frigates owned by major European countries. Then discussions on some factors which influence the selection of combined propulsion system is made. It is pointed out that the determination of final technical solution is not only dependent on technical issues, but the compromise of various factors. |
