| Abstract:Focusing on the design of large power diesel engine’s block for shunting locomotive, with reference to the dimensions of the engines of the same kind, and based on the design requirements of the under-development engine, several design programs are given. Through FEM calculation and overall consideration, the optimization design of the engine block for better stiffness and intensity is accomplished. |
