| Abstract:An imported type of diesel engine used domestically-produced steel to machine the camshaft, which appeared to have metallurgical defects and had bad influence on the life of the camshaft. The metallurgical defects such as non-metallic inclusions are studied, and effective quality control and management method is given. |
