| Abstract:Based on the the analysis of energy storage distribution and the requirements of energy-saving and emission reduction in China, the necessity and urgency of the development of gas-fuelled marine engines is discussed. The development strategy and plans of International Maritime Organization and major marine engine enterprises are surveyed, and several typical techniques of large gas-fuelled engines are evaluated and concluded. With the foundation of the analysis, the development strategy and technical solutions for domestic gas-fuelled marine engines are proposed. |
