| Abstract:With the enforcement of strict regulations on marine fuel's sulphur limits, the diesel engines have to use distillate fuels with low sulphur content. However, the low viscosity of distillate fuel will increase the operation risks on the fuel system. To get a safe viscosity, cooling the distillate fuel inlet temperature is a recommended solution. York marine diesel oil (MDO) cooling system is introduced in detail. |
