Fuel Combustion Optimization Technology for Marine Diesel Engine Under Low Load——Turbocharger Cut-off Technology

Abstract:Several fuel combustion optimization technologies for marine diesel engines and their applicable conditions are briefly introduced. The working principles of turbocharger cut-off technology are analyzed in detail, as well as its effect and operation range. The parts which are needed for the modification of turbocharger cut-off technology and the cost are introduced. Moreover, the influence of modification on the main engine’s emission is presented, as well as the key points of main engine operation.
