| Abstract:Combined with the experience obtained from YCMP’s first stage PDM project, the implementation and application of PDM system in low-speed diesel engine manufacturer are studied and analyzed in detail. The functions of PDM system, as well as the key technology during implementation procedure are introduced. Moreover, the key points which need to be paid attention to are given on implementation and widely application of PDM. Actual application show that the first stage project realizes, the company’s data collection initially, improves management level, cuts down the design cycle and improves company’s competitive power. |
