| Abstract:The marine main engine occupies the important part of marine propulsion system. The main engine’s installation quality and shaft alignment condition may directly influence the normal running of power equipment and the navigation performance of ships. The technology of Wrtsil RT-flex main engine alignment and installation is introduced. Moreover, the technical key points of alignment and installation is studied, which offers reference for on-board installation of main engine and the formulation of technical standard for Wrtsil RT-flex main engine’s installation and alignment. |
